Greenville men sentenced in heroin overdose cases

The Pitt County District Attorney's Office says two suspects have pled guilty and have been sentenced on heroin charges stemming from several overdoses.
Robert Moore pled guilty to conspiracy to sell heroin and was given a 17 to 30 month suspended sentence with 4 months active time and 36 months probation.
Jamal Strong pled guilty earlier this year to the sale of heroin and was given an active sentence of 17 to 30 months.
Greenville police say Moore sold heroin to a individual in March of 2015, who overdosed. Police were able to revive him with NARCAN.
That same day, thet say two more people overdosed after buying heroin from Strong.
Those two individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment.
